Unlike the open source version, clients benefit from a greatly expanded feature set, premium support from the manufacturer, and control at API level while running.
Popular platform for web servers and load balancing
As the server behind over 130 million websites worldwide with high bandwidth demands, NGINX Open Source is the go-to choice for web servers. NGINX Plus enhances the already expansive feature set with functions like HTTP and TCP load balancing, session persistence, media streaming, health checks, and expanded monitoring and management functions.
