Our Data Centers
Our data centers at a glance
SysEleven has two main data centers in Berlin that have successfully been in operation for over 14 years and 8 km apart from one another. Over the years, our locations have developed into one of the most important telecommunication nodes and housing centers in the region. The locations share excellent accessibility in the city as well as redundant power supply and numerous carriers between them. This makes them the best connected nodes in the entire region.
In addition, SysEleven has also had another data center in Frankfurt am Main since 2021. Frankfurt is the leading data center market in Germany and is one of the largest data center markets in Europe. The city’s geographic location allows connections to Eastern and Western Europe, along with the Nordics and the Middle East (via Turkey), making it a very well-connected hub. The Frankfurt 1 Data Center is the main site of NTT, which has a total of more than 65,000 m² of data center and technical space.
All facts in detail
Düsseldorf
In 2020, DATACENTER one built DUS1, the most modern data center on the Rhine and one of the most modern in Europe, with a total area of 7,400 square meters.
Power
- The data centers are operated with 100% green electricity
- Completely separate, redundant power supply paths
- Industry-leading energy efficiency value PUE < 1.3 and therefore reduced power consumption and minimized CO2 emissions
Standards
- Security service 24/7
- EN 50600 Level 3
- ISO 27001 according to BSI basic protection
- ISAE 3402 Typ 2
Security
- 24/7 Support
- Comprehensive physical security measures
- State-of-the-art security technology and in-house security service incl. access concept
- Access control system
- Building management system connected to a security control center
- Meets the highest ISO and TÜV requirements
Cooling
- Environmentally friendly cooling system through indirect free adiabatic cooling
- Cooling takes place via air/air heat exchangers using only the outside air and, if necessary, is supported by the evaporative cooling of water as a cooling medium. This is currently the most environmentally friendly and sustainable cooling system for data centers
- 100% elimination of additional heating in the office operation of the DC1 data centers through the use of waste heat
Hamburg
Like the DUS1, the HAM1 data center, also operated by DATACENTER one, is based on a modular design. This is particularly resource-efficient and sustainable and allows for individual scalability, even during operation.
